EMDR Therapy Transforms Lives – Plain & Simple
There is a powerful difference between simply existing and truly living. With over 25 years of experience, I am deeply committed to helping you move beyond survival and into a life that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and authentic.

Life’s challenges can make it difficult to feel content, to find hope in difficult moments, or to step fully into your potential. Through my work, I have learned that every person—and every struggle—is unique. That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I offer thoughtful, individualized care designed to support you and your journey toward lasting growth and well-being.
EMDR therapy offers a powerful path to healing. It is an effective, evidence-based approach that helps reduce emotional distress and move people through painful experiences, addictions, and change negative beliefs more efficiently. Time and again, I’ve seen EMDR create meaningful, lasting change for clients who felt stuck or overwhelmed.
I am deeply grateful for the way EMDR therapy has altered the lives of my clients. Over 25 years as a clinician, I’ve witnessed remarkable strength, relief, and transformation as people heal from trauma and addiction and move beyond experiences that once felt impossible or unchangeable. EMDR allows clients to process the past, reclaim their sense of self, and move forward with confidence and empowerment.
What is EMDR Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma and other experiences that continue to interfere with daily life. EMDR is an integrative approach that has helped millions of people of all ages find relief from distress.

EMDR works by helping the brain do what it naturally wants to do—process experiences so they no longer feel raw, overwhelming, or in control. Through bilateral stimulation, such as hand-held pulsars or guided eye movements, EMDR helps access and reprocess painful memories, symptoms, beliefs, and emotional blocks that may be at the root.

When difficult or traumatic experiences aren’t fully processed, they can remain “frozen” in the nervous system, showing up as anxiety, shame, reactivity, addiction, or a sense of being unable to move forward. EMDR helps the brain reprocess these experiences so they lose their charge, allowing you to respond to life from the present rather than the past.

As this happens, clients often experience relief, clarity, and a renewed sense of confidence and self-trust. EMDR doesn’t erase what happened—it helps you heal from it, so you can feel more comfortable in your own skin, make healthy choices rather than simply reacting.

What is Attachment-focused EMDR Therapy?
Attachment-Focused EMDR Therapy helps people heal not only from painful experiences, but also from the lack of responsiveness, validation, and emotional connection they may not have received earlier in life. It looks at how early relationships shape how we see ourselves, trust others, and respond to closeness. Through this work, clients can let go of old beliefs and emotional patterns that no longer serve them while building new inner experiences of safety, support, and connection—leading to more secure attachment, greater self-confidence, and healthier relationships

In session, attachment-focused EMDR is typically experienced as supportive, affirming, and deeply healing. Many clients describe feeling calmer, more grounded, and less overwhelmed as the work unfolds. As sessions progress, people often notice a growing sense of safety within themselves, reduced emotional reactivity, and a greater ability to respond to life and relationships from the present rather than from past hurt.
Is EMDR for More than Trauma?
EMDR therapy isn’t only for people who have experienced trauma. It can also be very effective for anxiety, depression, stress, fears, addictions, and mind–body symptoms. Many people find that EMDR helps them move through emotional blocks that keep them feeling stuck and interfere with daily life, relationships, and overall well-being.

EMDR can also support confidence and performance, whether at work, in school, or in personal goals. By gently clearing old thought and emotional patterns that no longer serve you, clients often notice increased self-trust, greater resilience, and a stronger sense of capability and ease in their lives.
